Brandi Lawson

Brandi began serving as a part-time housekeeper at St. Francis Springs Prayer center in September of 2024. The gifts she brought to her role were organization, attention to detail, and an ability to create meticulous, yet artistic spreadsheets. Prior to joining our hospitality team, she spent several years in trauma therapy after experiencing labor trafficking on a Christian farm. This journey taught her how to be hospitable to herself, seek a quiet Justice, and contemplate God’s Mercy in the face of her grief — ultimately leading to her conversion to Catholicism in 2023.

She was overjoyed to find a place like St. Francis Springs where shared values permeated their mission. Hospitality, justice, and contemplation are core values that imbue Brandi's domestic life, motherhood, friendships, and her work ethic. In her mind, Housekeeping is Holy work. It has become her greatest honor to scrub the toilets, make beds, and refresh the space again and again so that guests might encounter God’s restorative Beauty and Holiness, just as she has. After seven months of diligently tending the spaces at St. Francis Springs Prayer Center, Brandi was brought on as the full-time Housekeeping Director.
