Special Dietary Needs
It is our mission to welcome all, and we never want special dietary needs to be a reason for a guest to not come on retreat. While our kitchen staff works hard to craft meals with care and attention to dietary needs, we understand that some guests have many dietary restrictions that are harder to fully accommodate while feeding a large crowd. Our kitchen is able to accommodate the following dietary needs:
Vegan
Vegetarian
Dairy Free
Gluten Free
Nut Allergy
Shellfish Allergy
We are not able to guarantee that our kitchen will be able to accommodate anything that falls outside of these restrictions. We encourage you to bring any supplemental food that you might need during your stay. Our guest kitchen in the Main Lodge has a refrigerator and microwave. Hermitages and cottages have refrigerators, microwaves, and stoves.
Please share your special dietary needs with us either at the time you make your reservation, or no later than two weeks before your retreat or event to help our kitchen staff in serving you best.
For Overnight Guests
Your first meal is dinner on the day you check in.
Your last meal is lunch on the day you check out.
For Day Guests
Lunch is included in your day retreat.
Optional Silent Dining
To incorporate our missional pillar of contemplation into our dining, the Friar’s Room is set aside as a dining area for our guests who wish to eat in silence. This room is down the hallway from the entrance to the dining room, just past the Library of the Disinherited.
