World Peace Day 2026

Please join us for World Peace Day on September 21. This year, we are delighted to have Michelle Sherman speak and lead our event as we explore peace and non-violence in the Bible. In addition to hearing from Michelle, the day will include lunch, discussion, and an interfaith prayer service. We will raise our voices simultaneously with people from around the globe on this day to pray for Peace in our world.

Michelle Sherman is the Program Director for Pax Christi USA, the national catholic peace movement. She works with Pax Christi International's global Catholic Non-violence Initiative. She co-founded the Pax Christi Young Adult Caucus (PCYAC) for peacemakers in their 20's & 30's, and Peace Pairs, a mutual co-accompaniment program among generations of peacemakers. Michelle serves on the boards of Bridgefolk and Pace e Bene. Michelle is a retreat presenter and spiritual director.
